Available Positions
We are hiring for multiple roles across our stores, including:
1. Cashiers
- Process payments efficiently and accurately.
- Deliver excellent customer service.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization at the checkout counters.
- Requirements: Matric certificate, good communication skills, and experience in cash handling (preferred).
2. Butchers and Meat Packers
- Cut, prepare, and pack fresh meats.
- Maintain high hygiene and safety standards.
- Engage with customers to recommend products.
- Requirements: Relevant experience in butchery or meat processing.
3. Cleaners
- Ensure the cleanliness of the store, workstations, and restrooms.
- Follow health and safety protocols.
- Requirements: Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.
4. Supervisors and Managers
- Oversee daily operations and staff.
- Manage stock levels, sales, and customer relations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
- Requirements: Leadership experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and a background in retail or food services.
5. General Assistants
- Assist with stocking shelves, managing inventory, and customer service.
- Support the team in any way necessary to ensure smooth store operations.
- Requirements: Willingness to learn and a proactive attitude.

Locations
Roots Butchery is hiring across multiple locations in South Africa, including Gauteng, Limpopo, KwaZulu-Natal, Northwest, and Mpumalanga.
