Petrol Attendant – BP Garage
Location: Various BP Garage branches across South Africa
Position Type: Full-time / Shift-based
🌟 Key Responsibilities:
As a BP Garage Petrol Attendant, you will play an essential role in ensuring excellent service to our customers. Your responsibilities include:
- Filling Fuel Tanks: Assisting customers by filling their vehicles with fuel (petrol/diesel).
- Customer Service: Greeting customers warmly and providing prompt, friendly service.
- Windshield Cleaning: Offering to clean vehicle windows and mirrors for customers.
- Tire Checks & Maintenance: Assisting with tire pressure checks and minor inflations.
- Payment Handling: Processing payments, including cash, card transactions, and vouchers.
- Product Recommendations: Informing customers about special deals on fuel or convenience products.
- Safety Compliance: Following health, safety, and environmental procedures at the forecourt.
🎯 Requirements:
No matric? No problem! We are looking for individuals who are reliable, honest, and eager to learn. Here’s what you need:
- Basic Literacy & Numeracy: Must be able to read, write, and perform basic calculations.
- Good Communication Skills: Fluent in English or another local language.
- Customer Service Skills: Friendly, helpful, and professional in dealing with customers.
- Physically Fit: Able to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Willingness to Work Shifts: Available for weekends, holidays, and early/late shifts.
Previous experience as a petrol attendant is a plus but not required—training will be provided!
