The successful candidate will be part of Investment Banking division at Citi South Africa’s Institutional Clients Group in Johannesburg. As an Investment Banking Intern Analyst, the successful candidate is expected to perform the following duties and responsibilities:

• Carry out research and study industry trends involving business development
• Develop financial models, provide valuation assessments, discover corporate finance solutions for comprehensive financial analyses
• Contribute in client development as well as coordinating client data and providing assistance with presenting new ideas and concepts to clients

Who should apply?

You are eligible to apply if you satisfy the role’s minimum eligibility criteria and competency requirements:

• A degree holder in any discipline and preferably has taken Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, and Actuarial Science subjects
• Possesses a strong academic background (matric and tertiary level education)
• Knowledgeable in Financial Markets and Corporate Finance
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Must have joined a similar internship
• Highly motivated with a proactive and positive mindset
• Sound work ethic and strong need to learn and succeed
