SASSA Grant Payment Dates for August 2022

SASSA has confirmed the scheduled dates for grant payments for children, elderly and disabled persons in August 2022.

It’s the normal grants that SASSA distribute every month in support of the above-mentioned persons in South Africa.

Here are the dates to keep in your calendar for grant collection:

• Tuesday, 02 August 2022: Older Persons Grant
• Wednesday, 03 August 2022: Disability Grant
• Thursday, 04 August 2022: Children’s Grant

Where to pick up SASSA Grant

In order to withdraw money from ATMs and affiliated supermarkets, SASSA advised users to use alternative methods.

Otherwise, SASSA always arranges locations with local leaders to offer cash payments to those who prefer the traditional route. Please confirm where the payment occurs for each of the groups with the local leaders or other beneficiaries.

How Much Will You Get From SASSA Grant?

A different grant amount is allocated to each of the person groups.

Here’s how much SASSA pays each month:

• Children Grants: R480
• Older Persons < 75yrs: R1,980
• Older Persons > 75yrs: R2,000
• Disability Grants: R1,980
